The Mars Microsoft Teams app brings those findings into the Teams channels your security team already lives in. When a hunt completes, Mars posts a concise summary card — with the verdict, key facts, and a direct link to the full report in Mars — so your team sees what happened without switching tools.

The Mars Teams app does one thing: it posts hunt-completion cards to a channel you choose. There are no slash commands and no bot interactions. When a hunt finishes in Mars, a rich card lands in your Teams channel with the verdict, key findings, and a link back to the full report.

Every time a hunt completes in Mars, a rich Adaptive Card is posted to your configured Teams channel. The card includes the hunt verdict, a summary of key findings, and a direct link to the full report.
Filtered to what matters
Control when Mars posts by configuring a trigger, a minimum severity threshold, and which verdicts should generate a notification. Keep your channel signal-to-noise high.
Mars requests the minimum Microsoft Graph permissions needed to let you pick a destination channel. They are used only to populate the channel picker, not to read your messages.

Add Mars to your Microsoft Teams workspace.
Mars uses a single, Mars-managed Teams bot. Setup is a one-time job for a Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 administrator, then the integration is configured from inside the Mars platform.
- 1Sign in to your Mars platform tenant.
- 2A Teams administrator approves the Mars app for your organization (via the Microsoft Teams admin center or your app catalog) and adds the Mars app to the team that should receive notifications.
- 3A Microsoft 365 administrator grants admin consent for the Microsoft Graph permissions Mars requests, so Mars can list your teams and channels for the destination picker.
- 4In Mars, go to Integrations → Microsoft Teams, enter your Microsoft 365 Tenant ID, and click Connect. Mars verifies it can read your teams and channels.
- 5Go to Settings → Communications, enable Microsoft Teams, and select the destination channel from the list.
- 6Fine-tune Trigger, Notify on verdicts, and Minimum hunt severity to control when Mars posts. Click Update to save.
